I started to incorporate chatgpt in my learning or debugging research which for the most part feels like you have a teacher/mentor to explain things or help you code It does need correcting though sometimes since it’ll make mistakes and repeat itself

I’m in my first job as a junior at a non-tech company in a 2-man team I came in with mainly backend experience from just a year of learning and 2-months paid work experience with a contractor (backend too) It’s my sixth week in and my manager wants me to build a GUI and he said “I thought you would be able to do a GUI by the end of the day in C#”brIt’s like, I have nobody higher up to ask as he never hired a senior, and he expects me who has told him in interview and on cv that I’m backend based that he wants a GUI (that by the way, he wants written with the code logic to send and receive ASKII strings to and from a COM port device over RF) does this sound like they hired a junior to do a seniors job or that they don’t know what they’re doing? Stressed to my eyeballs!

Asking to many questions as a junior dev is a wrong turn It's better for yourself to try and find the solution online rather to have it served by the senior devs It's good to ask a question when you'r totally stuck

I’ve tried Treehouse, and the techdegree is actually really cool ZTM was cool and everything, but the explanations aren’t super thorough When you get lost, you’re just lost… so now you’ve moved on to Coding Dojo? Lol it was too expensive when I looked into it
