Thanks for this, it’s easy to get discouraged when you don’t fit the “mold” My husband is a fireman, and I’m a nurse Yet we homeschool our kids and live in the city Like you said do what works for your family! I can agree After 11 years of homeschooling, I have finally learned to “let my hair down”, because I was so rigid and trying to mimic the public school system that I experienced a burn out starting 3 years ago I have slowly come out of the burn out, but I just do what is best for us and strongly emphasize life applicable skills because that is reality My oldest will be 18 soon and graduating from homeschool so I guess I did ok 🤭😂 I do tell him that is learning, wisdom, and knowledge is a life long achievement You NEVER stop learning Comment from : Keturah-Abigail |

ACE (ACCELERATED CHRISTIAN EDUCATION) great curriculum if anybody's looking And less expensive You do not have to have your kids do this much school work Buy some of the curriculum and let your kids do it at their own pace And 7th grade in Math , Science, Social Studies, English is a review year so if you think you missed anything with your kids just get them 7th grade I think my kids went through 7th grade it probably took him two years But my son tested above College grade math in the public school test after finishing seventh grade ACE But it's not hard to blow the public school stuff away Comment from : Liz Winters |
