The hard drive I have is a very terrible one that was useful for a while but it overheated and completely failed I sent it to a data recovery service and they tried replacing the chip with the same one from a working hard drive and it didn't do anything I had no money for the COMPLETE recovery and they mailed it backbrbrI would happily plug it into my hard drive dock but there is a HUUUGE problem with that Windows alway pokes it's grubby fingers all over hard drives continuously The hard drive will be damaged by that process I CAN buy the multi thousand dollar device that will take care of scanning the hard drive without OS interface but that is not what I want to get into It is not even Windows for the most part The system pokes around toobrbrWhat should I do? Delicate Toshiba Probably one of the trash ones from Amazon so the company can sell computers (Seagate Rosewood has a 6 month fail rate I am an IT Bad hard drives bother me) What should I do?

Wait if the PC can't even read the dead/crashed hard drive, how would the software magically be able to detect the hard drive and recover lost data in it?? I have a question, I took mine to Best Buy and they said they had to send it out to there data recovery center, they said when they tried to move the data over it couldn’t find the data on it? I belive he said they would have to take the disk out? They said they could do it at the data recovery place but it would be around 1500 I really don’t want to spend that much but I really need the files, would this program work for somthing like that?

I replaced my 1TB HDD with a new faster 1TB HDD because the old one failed all i want to do is recover the data on the HDD that failed and transfer it to my new HDD but so far nothing seems to work unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for HDD recovery
