I know this is 2 years old but I hope someone will see this It is illegal to keep any counterfeit US bullion and there is more you can't keep just look it up As for the fakes they are getting better at the weight but the dimensions are off you need a digital caliper to know that They still don't quite look right either E-bay is full of them just bought 2 only buy from reputable dealers and always, always check your coins in as many ways possible About keeping them beside being illegal, what would happen to those coins if you died who would get them?

I'd report them to the Secret Service because it's counterfeit currency They come from countries like China Buy from reputable and authorized dealers You will be safer with your purchase

The right side serif on the "U" in "United" is missing on the fake and the number "1" in the "1 oz" is way different in the fake piece

You missed one of the biggest tells On the reverse the “U” in United is the wrong font for a 2020 The last year they used the U font (seen on the fake) was 2007

I purchased 21 silver eagles from Lafiesta which turned out to be fake However, I noticed when I received them that they didn't appear to be real so I took them to a coin dealer and they verified they were fake and contained no silver Thankfully Visa refunded my money and Lafiesta has disappeared off the radar So beware and buy from a reputable company

Let's not knock EBay that bad as if you look at their warranty it covers you against all and any fakes for currency Their security keeps a good eye on who sells and whats sold Even the best of us could get fooled?

I could see it was a fake the second you turned it overthe "U" in United does not have a tail on the fake, the "U" on the real coin has a tail Also the O shapes are different

Not only coins and precious metals are faked but just a ton of other things as well look at shoes for instance or ladies handbags be careful everybody cuz they're not going to stop you just have to educate yourself and be very aware of what you're purchasing
