The Rimworld community simplifies her planning strategy further with the phrase "Security, Food, Mood" which is exactly in line with her plansbrbrShe just goes into greater detail to show how to do it with a good plan in mind brbrI'm bad at planning in general I always try to plan around my egress, or roadway I pave everything really early on and put efforts on movement speed and efficiency and I often get quickly overrun with raiders because I end up creating the means to quickly build up faster and make my wealth skyrocket on top of the natural increase in wealth from all of the walls and egress I also struggle with food early on brbrI think I will plan the way this lady does on my next Rim play Comment from : Something Is Wrong |

In all my playthroughs i confirmed two things for myself br-Raiders dont give a shit about my geotermals Just build stone or concrete floors two blocks around cables so wildfires wont burn thembr-The only difference in thickness of your walls is how long will it take for raiders to break them They'll tunnel through 13 block thick mountain if they have to Comment from : Yokmakarok |

Don't follow this It's overkill Do more basic to save time and invest in defences You won't survive long enough and I wouldn't bother having a hospital The colonists need to be stabilised in the field It's war like conditions, and critically injured people don't have time to get to a hospital hence many people die in wars Comment from : rickysmyth |

I'm curious how many hours in Rimworld you have? Based on everything you're explaining I'd say it's safe to say you have no less than 1000 hours played?brIt's incredible how basic the game seems when you first purchase it, compared to how in depth it actually is once you're in your gaming chair trying to figurebrout and plan what your strategy will be for any given start I'm only 30 hours in and every single playthrough I've made some major mistakes that of coursebrturned into lessons learned and each time I start up a new one thinking "I'll get wayyy further this time!" Something always ends up surprising me and takesbra shit on me and my colony Just one lesson learned after another Was able to get 7 hours in on my first wipe about 10 hours in on my 2nd wipe, and onlybr5 hours in on my third wipe Raiders just HAD TO COME as soon as two of my colonists came down with the plague and of course one of them that was mybrDoctor so that just turned my whole wipe upside down REAL FAST Comment from : Mista 808 |
