I have a cooler master and inside are 2 huge capacitors, one of which is leaking electrolytic fluid, swollen at the top PC does not turn on
brWhen i bridge Green and Black and switch on PSU the fan does spin ok, but when i try again the fan does not spin, it is intermittent

So the Acer 220w PSU I have does not boot the computer (another PSU starts it so it is the PSU that is the issue) You can hear a lower than normal crackle when you plug it in brbrI cant see any puffed capacitor or anything loose or anything burned I do not have a multimeter right now brbrAnd it has no visible fuse on any side of the circuitboardbrbrThe computer was filled with dust when I found it (CPU packed with thick dust) so I think there might be some overheating isssue that caused itbrbrDo you have any suggestions Comment from : Micke Grus (Michael Gravel) |

My Cooler master 450 watt supply is not working on load After testing it I found two faulty Transistors and one zener diode After replacing components and testing in series the Power supply fan is running by shorting green and black wire of 24 pin socket but on installing in the computer it hardly works for 2 seconds and stops immediately I have checked all componentsAll are good but still the power supply is not working on load My supply IC is ST9S429-PG14 What could be the possible reason?
