In India, in the kind of work I do, my employer has a THREE MONTH notice which is just just such bullshit!!! you keep people around for three months after they have quit you can't avoid it becoming office gossip plus, you demoralise the person for the next role they are going to take up and it simply always ends on a bad note I'm currently serving mine and can't explain how much I hate it

The scumbag manager already know why you are leaving him/her Toxic people know they are not liked, so giving a reason for leaving will likely create reasons for retaliation, the last 2 weeks that you are still there I definitly would NOT talk about reasons

With all due respect, brbrbut I don’t really care too much for 2 week notices Especially when it’s a job that you hate with an absolute passion If it stresses you out constantly, also plays with your mental health you need to leave ASAP Also these so called “Managers” don’t even appreciate 2 week notices anymore Once they find out that you are planning on leaving they start to act funny, also talk crazy about you behind your back For example “Oh I’m glad he’s leaving, he was getting lazy anyway, we’re better off” And this I know for sure because I witnessed this with my own eyes with an old coworker years ago
