Environmentally, the graphics are much better in Definitive/PS4 version Facially, PC wins BUT I do have to say that when you’re not directly comparing, PS4’s face is not so bothersome In fact, I even appreciate it I actually played the PC and PS4 version back to back, playing both of them every other day one time to realize this

At about 1:39 Lara's mouth on the PS4 version makes a uncanny valley movement that the PC version does not and at around 4:10 in the PS4 version she looks like a barbie doll and unrealistic The lighting and shadows in the PS4 version looks better but there is not much in it It doesn't help that Digital Foundry did not disable motion blur which seems to be missing in the Definitive edition

She sports more of a classic Lara Croft look in Definitive The original version of Reboot Lara always looked like she was going to burst out crying In any event, thanks to Gh0stblade's mod work, PC gamers can have it all! :-)

Just looked up the definitive PC patch Lara looks like she loses all her emotions in her face Like at 4:00 and on the tower scene, PC Lara has so much more emotion to her face I'm sticking to default PC version

I gave it a try on ps4 and this version is a lie, they only added effects on the screen that the only thing they do is worsen your vision of what you see on the screen brExaggerated drops on the screen that do not let you see, as well as effects of sand in the air by the strong wind that bothers since they are badly done, is that if I start to list all the crap that they put throughout the game, it is a disproportion, all this consumes resources of the console so I think they could have put the PC version in ultra with tressfx hair and at 60 fps stable and would have been the best decision

They improved Lara's face and skin, but got rid of motion blur and depth of field, and had no Tessellation, which made a lot of objects have visible polygon edges That's about it, the rest is practically identical

I am PS4 Pro owner, BUT Big butt Because PC version is more detailed (just look on scene with house on fire 4:58), colours are realistic (4:21), and Lara's face more emotional and pretty Not doll in definitive ver like other man sad My feelings about pc version is better In butt version I like some effects, like flashlight at 4:53, detailed dirty water at 4:38 and deep shadows, it's good for landscape view at twilight and dark, like at 3:43

The Tress FX is better on PC, yet the model and subsurface scattering is better on console I'm actually pleasantly surprised that console gamers will have a better graphical experience And damn those particle effects and environments on the PS4 are very nice for a console

I just want to say that Laura in this game definitely had a better "tomb raider" look than she did in the next two In fact, the next two games built off of this game horribly in terms of story This one was great, but the others are just "meh"
