@AnhTuPhucDerrickHoangCanada
looks cool to stick another heat pipe onto the cpu directly
Comment from : @AnhTuPhucDerrickHoangCanada

@ag-gp1ov

@tomasrengifo3177

@MenTHORe
Very good

@GreeDeus
Its a shame that we must do this in order to have good cooling, when the manufactures can do this way better and a bit more efficient, personally i would pay extra for better cooling from manufactures

Comment from : @elstm4797

@mrjavierberraquero
Comment from : @mrjavierberraquero

@marcegutierrezjm
Comment from : @marcegutierrezjm

@christianhudspeth3338
If you removed the fans further you would be able to solder the pipe directly to the heatsinks Might even be able to put more cooling fins on the new copper pipe
Comment from : @christianhudspeth3338

@CuongNguyen-gu9fl
Is the glue permanent and does this work long-term?
Comment from : @CuongNguyen-gu9fl

@InterlacedTech
Accually heatpipe mods are not very effective and it may harm the cooling system and sensor inside the laptop

@jackstm3343
anyone know if stacking heatpipes one on top of another one will improve cooling system ?
Comment from : @jackstm3343

@adiabriganjarutama6144
juat buy the dual GPU HSF and pop it in, done in a seconds
Comment from : @adiabriganjarutama6144

@Tremor244
did you seriously just stick a copper heatsink on an m2 drive without taking off the white sticker?? paper acts as an insulator that reduces the heat transfer a lot
Comment from : @Tremor244

@danyshutter9789
maybe a better effect would be if you would remove the old paste from the processor and apply a new one just not toothpaste :)))))) applause for the idea and test next idea water cooling hiden in the laptop without additional power supply it is doable ;)

@johnpb7093
bro how can that tranfer the thermal u bent it out, it will make the transfer of the thermal broke
Comment from : @johnpb7093

@ZENOSFeelTheBass
I just did sorda the same thing I bought the same heat sink from my laptop the way how my laptop is made it gave me plenty of space to solder the heat pipe on top of the other one and plenty of space to leave the finz minor bending on the heat pipe and minor plastic trimming toobrSo really I sorta have Double the dissipating Heat I guess lol brBut yeah I saw huge improvements like 28° or more brDon't know why this isn't so popular :/brThe hottest my laptop gets now is right around 60° or less with no overclock :/
Comment from : @ZENOSFeelTheBass

@youareajackass2005
does this also work on a t440p with a gpu as well? Thx
Comment from : @youareajackass2005

@smileymattj
You should re-upload this video, or link to an updated one Only if reading the description do you know the "correct" way to do it And nobody reads The video is suggesting creases in the heat pipes are ok The heatpipes are hollow tubes filled with refrigerant That refrigerant needs to flow inside the tube, if the tube it bent, it will close internally and not work The only thing your adding with bent tubes is metal thermal mass, which will only help marginally Also the method shown in the video is gluing, again only a marginal improvement Soldering the pipes on and not bending them is the proper way to get maximum performance from them Please make it more apparent that you have an improved method of doing this
Comment from : @smileymattj

@skymiracle
Would a non-flat heatpipe work as well? I couldn't find any flat ones on ebay that still looked like it would fit
Comment from : @skymiracle

@nuklearpuppy
This is by far a better option than opting for the 00hm903 heatsink which is very difficult to find online and very expensive Thank you for the wonderful information
Comment from : @nuklearpuppy

@luizdrco
I had the exactly same ideia Lucky me i found your video now! My heatpipes are coming, i bought in Aliexpress Wich seller did you bought yours?
Comment from : @luizdrco

@bobeven7028
All that mess just for 1-2 degree loss
Comment from : @bobeven7028

@dark-california
Just buy a T440p heatsink of a GT730M 😉

@sihker
How efficient is placing SSD heatsink on the label with thermal pad? My common sense would suggest to remove the label and place heatsink on the dies
