I finally got past both phases of Genichiro today It's not an issue anymore However, the third phase it kicking my but! How did you deplete his posture bar so quickly? I love your vids bro

I didn’t know I’d there was a checkpoint went he entered lighting form And I still don’t cause I beat that shit first try 😅 First phase took me awhile good 35 mins I think (don’t quote me on time it may have been a lot quicker)

I have done all ds3 with dlc bosses all elden ring all ds1 and nothing has ever come close to this guy it's impossible to beat him I have spent about 8 hours already trying this boss and it's about to make me uninstall the game it's a joke it's so hard and not optional

I'm doing my 2nd attempt at this game now, and am just now at Genichiro, and the last attempt, this was the brick wall I hit, I must've been killed by him 50 times before I quit, and I was furious, this is the only FromSoft game I struggle with, my old habits keep killing me I really hope I can get past this jerk this time, I really like the game, but this guy just killed the shit out of me last time, wish me luck!

Another thing u can do is use the spear prosthetic after u dash back when he does the grab atk also can do a thrust atk after the mikiri counter
