YES!!!! After over 2 hrs yesterday and days of tryong to beat him, I did it on the first or secind try this time!!! I used all my spirit emblems on advanced sabimaru and the flame vent that requires resin ember and I got my vitality up to 16 before fighting him this time, with attack power of 3 from defeating lady butterfly I got through way of tomoe phase without any prosthetics and just by dodging the ligtning and waiting for his combos to end for a counterattack and staying aggressive to build up posture damage, thankfully because my vitality was so high the odd perilius attack or two I missed didnt wipe me out and i was able to counter most of them, sweeps and thrusts for great posture damage, by looking for whether the blade glint was pointed or sweeping Either doing mikiri counter or jumping on the head for posture damage, I dodged the perilous sweep perfectly once or twice by accident too for good counterattack openings

Man… first attempt, I almost got em to third phase, same with second third attempt I did and stood with him (zero health items) for a min or two, but that lightning attack got me twice… 😢 love this game tho
