There are a few things different with the second phase When he wildly swings like he did in the first phase, when you are at a distance waiting for the attack animations to end, he draws his bow and shoots at you, you have to be mindful of this and block Secondly, when he jumps in the air he doesn't always go for the stab directly after, he now sweeps so you must jump out of the way and you're able to get a shot or two in brbrOverall, it's not an entirely difficult boss fight once you know his patterns For anyone struggling, your best best is to beat some more mini-bosses before this fight - there are plenty of guides online that show major and mini-boss orders I personally went and beat the corrupt monk first to get his memory and raise my attack power some more, but you can beat Genichiro with that and that is out of the recommended order anyways Comment from : First Last

the first and second life bar is easy to defeat Just equip Shadowrush Skill and just stab him repeatedly The 3rd one you just need to charge him with attack but the thunder is a little bit tricky to evade his thunder attack because you have to be really really good on timing blocking and throwing the thunder back at him I'm not at good at timing that's why i have difficultie on defeating the 3rd life bar Comment from : PhantomRom

Instead of blocking his jump attacks, try to side step, hit once, counter Mikiri, hit hit hit Sometimes he does a cleave attack instead of Mikiri and you can easily dodge it by jumping and follow up with aerial attacks First phase is really easy, just be patient and learn his movesetbrFor the 2nd phase, learn how to counter his lightning attack It helps A LOT It does around 15 damage and stuns him for a couple of seconds Good luck Comment from : Valiente
