Yup, which is why I basically ignore any kind of equipments in stores, no matter the game, even if some do offer nice deals from time to time And let's be honest, most games are easy enough that you can get trough them without min-maxing stats and equipment anyways

As opposed to NieR Repicant which lets you buy some of the best weapons in the game as soon as you unlock the store All of the weapons you get by playing the story are made completely useless by the Beastbain, rest in peace Rebirth, Moonlight, Faith, Nirvana Dagger, and Blade of Treachery, Beastbane is just too goddamn good😔
