I remember this happening to me My teacher pulled me aside (and it was so embarrassing) and asked me how I solved a problem in algebra And I was like idk it just make sense and I know the answer (I was shy) She said I need to show my work and accused me of cheating I front of everyone I really did just know the answer, and I didn’t cheat Years later, a biochemistry degree under my belt, I realize I just intuitively get math Why spend 20 minutes on a problem when you can spend 2? Public school is not designed for outliers It holds back the gifted and and doesn’t lift upbrStrugglers It really only suits those who are good at memorizing 😅

I hated school with a burning passion, socially educationally, etc It was so physically and emotionally draining and exhausting I was at school for longer than I was at home, and I couldn’t stand that Homework was awful and cramming it all those hours didn’t help me to remember anything Now when I look back to when I was in school, all I can remember was how miserable I was When I have kids, and if I can afford it, I’m homeschooling them I don’t want them to have my waste childhood

I’m glad my mom permanently pulled me out of the traditional school system and reverted me to homeschooling because I MENTALLY wasn’t well enough for their heavy workload nor rigid attendance policies! BTW, one of the curriculums I did for homeschool support provided in-person private one-on-one sessions for both full-time school and tutoring in case parents are too unavailable, inexperienced to teach, or if students struggle online It academically seemed like a compromise for FLEXIBILITY and social activities! I’m not saying every single thing was perfect,but it still kept me motivated to wrap up high school!

Teachers can be bullies but just because they discipline children does not mean their bullies, people don’t discipline their kids anymore, so what they don’t talk to each other at lunch they have plenty of other time to talk School is for learning not talking 😊 and there has to be so,e reason your son got into trouble

How about teachers and administrators allowing your 13 year old daughter to use pronouns he/him, change her name to Isaiah and not inform her own parents all behind their backs?!!! I pulled mine because they kept taking away recess as punishment All day he’s in a classroom at a desk and they take the only 30 mins of activity they get away because of a few “bad kids” This was kindergarten!

A lot of people comment about what school was like when they were growing up, and i would definetly public school my kids IF public schools were the same as when i grew up, but their not Getting angry with parents for homeschooling doesn't help anything because you do not know what those parents have access too in their area We live in a massive country with 50 VERY different states

No they are not allowed to talk, this is in second grade 😭brEdit Now I'm going through CCA!! Plus they had my son in title 1 I have no idea why?
