I have a certified snowblower with a champion 224cc it starts but does not stay running I'm going to try taking out the fuel fitting and check to see if the small screen is plugged I really like your videos they are very helpful

Now my generator has a screen on the Petcock should I put a inline fuel filter in between the shut off valve and carb? Or I'd that a bad idea because it could restrict fuel flow ? since there is no fuel pump Any help thanks

Theres a similar screen under the primer ball on 2 cycle trimmers that is so fine it can look ok but its actually clogged with fine silt Just pull it out with a pick and clean with carb cleaner and compressed air, just wear goggles as ive had the carb cleaner shoot back into my eyes when cleaning them

That 'secret' screen business is so much bullshit when an inline pleated fuel filter would do the job and it is obvious that you have a filter that you can/should change periodically in the first place How many will ever find this vid anyway ?

THANK YOU! This is exactly the problem I was having on a freshly cleaned carb It was cleaned with ultrasonic, so it may have helped a bit for a short time but back to the same problem - I was loosing my mind :) Filter symptoms with no filter? Mind blown :)

Thanks Don I just acquired a couple snowblowers that have that style carburetor on the engines Don there is an adjustment screw on the side of these carburetors right by the mounting holes My question is what is the adjustment on that screw, how many turns from fully closed? One of the most straight-forward DIY videos I have seen I have the same model as shown and it won't start Only used it twice ever But luckily, it's still under warranty so I'm just letting them handle it if I can't get it started after draining the old fuel from the float bowl
