I think push ups jacked up my shoulders Couldn't raise my arms very high for about two years One side after the other Wish I'd seen this earlier!

i can do the basic bridge pushups but my lower back really hurts, not during the exercise but the morning afterwards and can last for weeks, obviously there is a lot of specialist saying that hyper extension in that position is bad for you, but i know you will say that's rubbish haha any suggestions?

Strange, I started the 100 push ups a day thing, but because I am 69, I am intending to do 5 sets of 20 I am a 17 times 5 at the moment Once I reach that I will make it more difficult and do less Tomorrow I am getting the 30kg weights and protein powder delivered Because I am an artisan I am going to build a DIY home gym

BROOOO that makes so much sense my time in the military my best pt test I did 100 push ups in 2 minutes ive trained alot of push ups but I've been working on my range of motion lately and my shoulders are super stiff like concrete and rebar

When I do the backwards pushups, I feel it in my quads and my middle back, not so much the shoulder even though im doing them right Is that supposed to happen, if not what am I doing wrong and how can I fix it

Oh god, as an avid push-upper I do them with raised feet and a weighted vest I just tried to do a reverse one and think I hurt my back without even getting my back off the ground 😭

So, I'm an ectomorph, 66 years old BMI never over 205 ever I lift weights and have started drinking 1 or 2 coconut milk protein drinks a day in addition to my normal large meals That's an extra 700 to 1400 calories I will be doing this until I either gain weight or die trying Peace

How about BOTH Mastering your own body weight is crucial for Parkour martial arts & majority of sports Good for the wrists to gain strength & all around makes you stronger KEEP DOING THE PUSH UPSbrWe walk on our legs all day & forget how strong they are in comparison to the arms Use THOSE arms❤

Should i stop doing push ups even tho all my physiotherapists have told me do them along with sit ups and two other back exercises that i cant remember the names of Because of me have a slight curve on the top of my spine and to prevent it from getting worse, i have to do these four exercises atleast every week?
