I use a weed eater for 6 hours a day every day around a campground for maintenance, Probably more than most would use one in a day, But Im always around other peoples nice RVs and their vehicles and their stuff so I cant be flinging rocks n debris around, I removed guard on my weeder bc I always tilt my weeder to fling anything n everything that gets cut at myself and my legs to avoid it going forward or other directions towards peoples stuff, Bc of this I removed guard bc I found often times guard would ricochet everything in different directions just wasnt reliable when comes to ensuring anything cut or potentially flung from going in 1 dependable direction, However I did have an idea for a full pan like cover fir weeder to avoid flying debris however that only limits us to tapping down, Need a 360 degree cover that allows us to sweep through weeds, Perhaps 2 pan like covers with small quarter inch 360 degree gap for string to slide through them, Idk thinking aloud here…
