Oh my! Just beautiful! Do you notice growing season being shorter? I tried cauliflower once in a raised bed and got some the size of a regular canning jar lid and multiple football sized Awesome!

WK Design, I have been viewing all your videos and built my system, (Dutch bucket) as close to your system as possible I got buckets from the local donut shop (30) over a period of 3 months I set it up and filled the buckets with perlite, etc The problem I see it that the water from my 27 gal holding tank isn't enough for the 4 gal buckets I set the return line 1/2" PVC @ 2" from the bottom of the bucket but am concerned because the water is not quite reaching the bottom of the net cup? What do you suggest as a remedy? I have thought of the following filling the bottom of the bucket with gravel up approx 3", The other thing is setting the return 1/2" line about 3"s higher to retain more water in the bucket, or changing them all out with 3 gal buckets? I can send pictures of my build it that would help? I also want to mention that I only placed 15 buckets on each 27 gal reservoir So I have 2 reservoirs and 15 buckets on each I am currently just testing on side before I move onto the other 15 I want to get this dialed in before I set the plants in the buckets Thanks for any suggestions

While most people don't know, broccoli leaf, and cauliflower leaf can be eaten (in small moderations !) steamed or boiled less tasty than collards, (kinda strong taste like kale) but still a healthy salad green in the diet Better than poke salad !!! Chickens and goats are known to eat these brassica (cabbage, kale, collards, broccoli, cauliflower) down to the roots

how do the plants get the nutrients if not planted in soil? Would the vegetables be nutrient defficient? In the bible food was never grown using hydroponics but rather the soil and all the nutrients it holds rendering it to the vegetable or fruit trees and bushes I just dont understand Many blessings!

awesome with the mixing tubs, they're pretty fairly priced as well The surface area is probably great for a lot of crops Do you have a whole system of just these mixing tubs, or know anyone that uses them primarily? I'm thinking they must be good for denser planting than the normal buckets/ cut overall cost because of this

Am trying to grow Iznik cucumbers hydroponically (deep water w/air stone) and my plants are very unhappy They’re yellowing around the edges before getting yellow spots & slowly dying Seems like magnesium deficiency maybe I think my pH may be off because adding epsom salt doesn’t help Any other helpful hints from anyone would be deeply appreciated Thank you!!
