Short summary:
br1 Meaning: 'Succulent' means 'full of juice' or 'juicy' - succulents store water in their leaves
br2 Light: Succulents need about 5-6 hours of sunlight per day
br3 Watering: Succulents and cacti do not like being overwatered Water them thoroughly when the soil is dry
br4 Potting mix: You need a light/airy soil mix for cacti and succulents - use pumice/perlite and charcoal
br5 Containers: Most succulents prefer wide, shallow pots Drainage holes are a must!
br6 Fertilizers: Succulents do not need to be fertilized often (once in a few months is enough)
br7 Pests: Spray Neem Oil to combat pests such as fungus gnats
br8 Cleaning: Gently wipe off your succulents' leaves with a damp cloth
br9 Repotting: Take special care when repotting your succulents - add antifungal powder to prevent rot
