My entire life I was abused by my father It almost destroyed me The effects have lasted a lifetime I became a raging drug addict to suppress the pain and memories Of course that doesn’t work and n,y makes things worse I managed to forgive my dad, and that helped a lot However, I still struggle, (not with drugs, gave that up decades ago!)
