When I look at a yard, I see what it will take to make it look as good as I would want it to be, because I know customers always lie, especially when they say they will be happy with cut rate results! Comment from : William Stanley |
Charging more tells a Sophisticated or Affluent buyer that you CLAIM to be DAZZLING! Quoting a high price will make them look at you more closely If the price matches the professionalism you have displayed thus far, they will go forward, looking to be dazzled! Therefore, when you DO DAZZLE THEM beyond any possible expectation, the frown face experience of sticker shock has been buried under a smile face experience, which makes them amazing customers! Comment from : William Stanley |

I have a batch of yardwork customers who pay me a monthly rate The 2 who have enjoyed our service for over 5 years now pay $65 and $100 a month (When I raise prices, current customers are not affected) I have a few paying $153 a month, and the last 8 are paying $195 Guess who I will try driving referral introductions from? That's right!brSo, low paying customers not only lock up a slot a higher paying customer could be enjoying, but they are a referral introduction dead end The customers I am looking for do not hang out with the people paying bargain basement prices Comment from : William Stanley |
This is an excellent presentationloving all your videosplan to attend your program Comment from : Raychelle Najimesi |

Fully agree with your premise and I have even fired a client (an IT Training Company) who represented half my volume I am an IT Trainer and Consultant and this Canadian-based client always tickled and died on T&E, but the final straw is when they lent me to the US Parent company and charge the US end-client US rates but only wanted to pay me the Canadian Rates They refused to pay the extra CAD 135 a day to match what my US based training companies paid, so I fired them I have even turned down clients who offered me US $50 a day less than my bottom rate for IT Consulting Undercutting even by a little is a slippery slope Comment from : Tim Guay |

I agree I have went to go above and beyond a client for a discounted rate and they do not value my service They are not committed and do not get the results that were capable of being achieved For me, i went to smaller schools all my life because of the personal engagement with my professors However, when it came to business I thought in volume By switching my focus, I was able to grow deeper relationships, grow my bank accounts, and get better results Comment from : Tyler Cerny |

Dont undercharge brNo fee is too high for success and almost any fee is too high for failure! Comment from : kim goh |
Thanks, Dan! Your strategies have been very helpful up to this point in my professional ''career'' I was able to go from charging $5/hour to $395/week on retainers And I'm dealing with 3-4 clients at a time, which is such an ease Plus, I've come to a conclusion that hourly rate is NOT WORKING most of the time unless I charge a premium price, which is $44/h for consultation currently Now, I feel that's quite low and I don't feel commitment from the other party at that price point so I will definitely increase that to something more reasonable $150-$250/h Comment from : Mat Sola |
What you get for nothing is usually worth itbrbrI learn't along time ago if you are trying to sell a used car or bike that is in poor condition and no one is responding to the add put the price up and let them haggle you back down to the price you wanted You get a sale at a fair price and the buyer gets a bargain Comment from : TheFaceless Men |
