As In a comment I made on a different video I'm wondering as I also have a phalaeonopsis hieroglyphica x mariae and it looks totally different, the colours are much lighter, the markings are much more defined and the perfume of Lillie of the valley fills the room Compared with the online pictures I was sure after seeing the bloom I have the correct ID, have you seen the blooms of phalaeonopsis hieroglyphica dark x mariae? Odd how flowers from the same cross can show so much difference

I have a hieroglyphica and a mariae in bloom at the moment, your Karen indeed is a really nice combination of these species :) Maybe you could make an update video when the colour changes to yellow? I don't know if all of them do that, but I think many do Phal mariae has a delicious smell like mandarins, the fragrance is quite strong and different from the other species Many Phal species have a very distinct fragrance Those that are closely related are more likely to smell similar Happy growing! :)

Oh, and I was browsing online today, and I found this pretty phalaenopsis that reminded me of a miltoniopsis orchid It's called Phal Chia Shing Hot Kiss 'Liu's Best' I found it very unique looking, and I'm tempted to buy it, but unfortunately, I have no space

I live in the USA and I can only find one type of orchid They all look very similar with different colors I did find a mini one But I'm really drawn to the shape and colors these ones have I started collecting them after I stumbled across one of your videos about 2 months ago
