I just now got a problem with my USB cable to try and rebuild my database for my PS4 cuz my 2 terabyte hard drive has stopped working but it was working for me yesterday but it just stopped working today so I don't know what to do should i get a new external hard drive or usb cable or a new ps4 cuz this is a first for me

Thks for your video you are right it is just the cord I tried everything following the instructions of a lot of video's i watched and nothing worked spent days on it ,I even bought a new cord and it didn't work , I must of just bought another charging cord, I started looking for other cords around the house and found one from a camera i had and it was thicker and it work so thks very much for your data

I am having thsi problem but i knoe the cord isnt charge only cause i often use it to move my controllers between my playstations and i tried to do a software uodate and when the ps4 restarted it came back in safe mode amd when i tried to plug in my control it charged but it wouldn't turn in while connected tobthe cord

I tried several different usb cables, and on a blog a guy said to change the hdmi port that was connected I don't know what the relationship is, but it worked perfectly, my controller started working again in safe mode using the same cable that came with the console 8 years ago I hope it helps

hey recently the new update for ps4 gave me a error code, I wasn't able to connect the controller I tried 5 different controllers and not a single one worked I eventually got it in safe mode and I plugged the controller into the USB and it blinks but wont connect I tried many different ways and different wires for the USB and still have no luck I will continue to try different ways but I highly doubt they will work since I cant even connect the controller but, if possible is there any way I could send my ps4 to you so you could take a look at it yourself I'm young and can't really afford another ps4
