My gaming pc is 8 years old, and I have been using it heavily for gaming Recently my graphics card simply became unresponsive/died, so I replaced it with a newer one However, fast forward 3 months, I am noticing strange things like, when I turn on the PC, the peripheral devices dont turn on (mouse, screen, keyboard), so I have to restart the PC and everything works againbrAlso, when gaming, sometimes, the screen turns black, a notification appears saying 'HDMI' and the game crashes, bringing me back to the desktopbrbrAfter providing all this information to ChatGpt, it suggested that most likely, these are signs that my PSU is dying :(brNow, Im thinking should I replace the PSU or just buy a new pc, since my current pc is by gaming standards old (8 years) and components will inevitable start to fail and die one by one

When you said your computer wil fire up in a blaze, that's what happened to me! I replaced my gpu for red dead 2 and not my psu, and today it made arcs like popcorn and tripped the breakers in my house

I’ve never done something so nerve wracking in my life 😭 the 24 pin did not let go without a fight 😭 I suggest tying a rubber band around it so it will stay unlatched why you wiggle it from side to side, ive been to other vids and the best advice is to wiggle it I tell you it’ll feel like forever and won’t feel like it’s working but take heart and wiggle away!
