This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model wwwyoutubecom/post/UgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it Comment from : Alicia Waller |

Make sure you put the silicone tube all the way on the pump up to the base when reassembling If not, the inlet tank seal for the water tank will not seal off correctly as the sealing base will not align correctly with the tank outlet stub, and it will leak Ask me how I know 1 do over Thanks for the video Fixed the problem that I've had for some time Comment from : Ralph McClary |
Had the exact problem you describe and did exactly what you said 30 minutes later my 10 year old Breville (aka: expensive) coffee maker was making cups-full just like when it was brand new The best part was it went from very noisy to very quiet THANK YOU! Comment from : Tainsha Binnez |
Woohoo I have also found a product called Kup-Lift to stop that annoying splashing Comment from : Sam Geragonis |
Mine runs slow when I use a coffee pod But when I use and empty coffee pod or run it without a pod it works fine I’m stumped Comment from : June June |
It works!!!! Comment from : Herbsurburb |
Old video but great and currently effective It took years for my breville to need this done, but I use my Britta to fill my reservoir so maybe that and the included water filter in the tank helped to prevent this from happening sooner Thank you for saving my from having to pay a service to fix or replace my breville, I love my Breville products, now to find a solution to my kettle taking so long to heat up ;) Comment from : CDN Adrian |
Great vid !! also , depending what kind of maker you have , there is a needle( below in in a removal cup assembly , it might have a little rubber sleeve around it be careful it slides off from the top of the needle ) i found a peace of debris in it and cleared it with a paper clip , now i get a full cup of coffee , this is after i tried meany other fixes first , it was probably the most easy one i tried , ( KISS !!!! ) KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID !!! i did not follow my own advise Comment from : larry h |
This worked perfectly! thanks for taking time to make the video Comment from : Jean B Parker |
Thanks for you're wonderful video Before taking your machine apart, you should try cleaning the filter using two Q-tips (four sides) for each quadrant of the filter For me, that was adequate enough to unclog my filter and get my Breville K-cup machine back to normal operations Comment from : Stephen Rose |
I thought my trusty coffee machine was done I watched this video and I fixed it on my own and it now works perfectly again Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video Extremely valuable! Comment from : John Cardella |

08-12-2019 Thanks so much for your simple instructions on repairing my Keurig Breville coffee maker Mine is now working fine following three times descaling This makes the second one I have purchased If I had seen your video before purchasing the last one I could have saved $25000 plus the taxes Thanks so much for your time making this video I am sure it has helped several people in restoring their coffee maker back to working well Comment from : Tom Phillips |

This did the trick I had purchased the descaler and it worked good only when it was only water But I followed your directions and it was pretty easy Amazing the black junk in the rubber hoses Not really seeing it but I used a Q tip, several and cleaned all of them And it is working great Thanks for saving me another $130 Next time I will buy a single cup Thank You Comment from : Kathy Thompson |
Ours has been in the cabinet for over a year Tried this today and it worked! It was nasty as hell! I cleaned each part with hot water, soap and paper towels and a small soft hose cleaner Ran it twice to see if it worked and both times perfect like old times! THANKS!! Comment from : Ed D King |

Cleaning that and the other filters didn't quite do the trick until I got mad, lifted my keurig machine up and dropped it less than a few inches off the counter Works great now! Thank you! Before your video, I did the vinegar solution cleaner and would still get a slow drip and not even a 1/4 of a cup of coffee would make This helped a lot! Comment from : Nancy Trevino |
Thanks for your video I applied what I learned on your video to my K75 Platinum Keurig brewer and cleaned out all the gunk and it works like a champ It would take forever to brew a cup of coffee and it was only dispensing about 7 oz of coffee instead of 12 oz Thanks again Comment from : Pgonzo8798 |
Thanks! Just used your video to fix my Mr Coffee Kurig I think I actually fixed it by blowing canned air through it, but when I did that it actually separated the filter hose from the pump Using this video allowed me to get into it and reconnect everything and now it works again You're awesome my hubby didn't even have to help me And best of allmy son bet me 7500 I couldn't fix it😏 Comment from : Patricia Golightly |
IT worked!!! That little filter barely had any scale in it, but as soon as I scrubbed it my problems were solved I literally spent all day yesterday spanking my Keurig platinum and running vinegar through it to no avail Big thanks!! Comment from : Jacob Kirk |
One noticeable design issue is that the needle puncher assembly has a check valve built-in If for some reason coffee grounds make their way up in that check valve (say if the k-cup was under some pressure and the top needle pierced before the bottom one), it'll jam the valve very badly and make the machine unuseable Fortunately, the needle puncher assembly is compatible with the one on the Keurig B60/B70, which use a separate check valve installed inline with the hot water feed line The Keurig outlet check valve however needs more pressure to 'crack open' so it only gives partial cups (6-7oz instead of 8) when installed on the Breville unit, so I'm still looking for a good replacement check valve Comment from : Patrick M |
Thanks! Worked perfectly although my Cuisinart did not exactly come apart I was able to get all the gunk out Comment from : Teri DiPiano |

Excellent video Took it apart, cleaned the filter with an old tooth brush, and closed it all up in 20 minutes, including a good clean up I did take my time Comment from : longueuillois |
Good morning, I just watched your video Thank you so much I took mine apart with no problems I did everything just as you did and while I had it upside down, I blew through the end with the filter and could hear the air going through the machine After I removed the end with the clip I took a Qtip and cleaned the inside of these two pieces Just ran several large cups of water through and it worked perfectly No groans or grinding Keeping my fingers crossed Many thanks! Comment from : T Lowman |
This is the one, guys! My water inlet was plugged with a clear jell It didn't look like a clog, but when I cleaned it out, both sides with an old toothbrush, after disassembly per the instructions in this video, it was good as new I just wish I hadn't found this video two days after I bought a replacement Keurig Gotta drink lots of coffee now Comment from : Stanton McGroarty |

Thanks for the video! I did this with my Keurig and initially it didn't work In my Keurig there's another strainer at the bottom of the inside of the water reservoir, so I took it apart cleaned it and it is working again Note: Both strainers looked clean, but the holes are so tiny you can really tell Clean them and you will see results! Afain, thank you so much, your video save me some money Comment from : Raul Orellana |

On the Breville, be sure to check the 3 holes on the side of the puncture needle in the lid The ½ inch or so rubber grommet pulls off exposing the holes Using a sophisticated tool called a "trombone" (French for paperclip as I just learned) just push it up through the 3 holes and voila! (French for I can't believe that actually worked) Often if it sounds like the heater is filling, but you just get a slow drip this will do the trick You can usually do this by just tipping the whole brewer back Comment from : btb |
Thankyou!! Just watched several videos- yours was the most concise & I loved the "skip to min 6" :) Going to attack the Keurig now! Comment from : Karen C Mairs |

Bingo! This video saved my Cuisinart Single Serve SS-700 I pulled off the bottom cover, accessed the filter, removed it and found a big build-up of fiber plugging its underside Maybe the fiber accumulated from the replaceable charcoal filter pack in the water tank Before I found this video a cup of coffee was taking 60-70 seconds to start pouring After 9 seconds! Like new again Comment from : Bud Mccreadie |
Awesome, I did this and it spits out the correct amount But now it leaks from the bottom lol Oh well, I guess I'll keep it around for tinkering Comment from : Chaos31 |

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I picked up a Keurig B60 at an estate sale for $15 realizing there may be some issues, and there were It was VERY slow to brew and only brewed about 3-4 ounces of liquid no matter what size I had the machine adjusted to I ran white vinegar through it but the same issues remained I tried your tip and within a few minutes I had a machine working perfectly and for only a fraction of the cost of a new machine! I cannot thank you enough for your tips! Comment from : DJ C |
I have been having similar problems with my Breville K-cup machine for quite awhile I usually have to brew two cups in order to get one; however, when I just want hot water, like for hot tea or cocoa, I get a full cup every time So this tells me that the machine is not maintaining enough pressure to force the hot water through the K-cup Do you think that cleaning the filter will fix this problem, or do I have a different problem, such as a malfunctioning air pump? Thanks for your video Comment from : Arthur Howle |
Thank you! Comment from : sabai206 |
Thank You, Thank You! My husband and I were ready to buy a new coffee brewer We've had our Keurig for 3 years now and thought well the pump must be bad I searched one last time by searching 'fix Keurig pump' instead of 'cleaning Keurig' and found your video So grateful I didn't give up just yet Comment from : Katie Blesener |

Thanks man Took me 15 minutes and runs like new now I always use distilled bottle water so I have no problem with calcium but I suppose after almost 3 years floating dust finally plugged that filter Comment from : Allan |
I did this fix and yet still only brews the 2nd smallest cup of coffee Could there be something I missed? I also descaled my brewer and did the paper clip trick and still the same thing Comment from : Rachel Schardt |
Oh My Gosh This video was a huge help We opened up our machine, found the internal filter, removed it & the algae clogging it Gross, I know, but now it works PERFECT! Thank you so much for posting this video Comment from : Jo Gandolfi |
