If you’re reading this… You’re not alone A few years ago I’d never imagine being here today due to the utter disturbance and tiredness intrusive thoughts/anxiety caused in my life The joy it can steal from every day and the feeling of thinking you’re going crazy is something you wouldn’t even wish on your worst enemies I’ve tried numerous therapies, self help techniques, reading books and nothing seemed to help That was all until I accepted Jesus as my savior The more educated I became on reading the Bible, the more it finally made sense This is how the devil tries to destroy us and take away our peace and joy By placing fear, intrusive thoughts, depression, anxiety in our lives Once I surrendered to the Lord and became grateful and faithful, it’s like all that seemed to be impossible never ending darkness had finally vanished from my life And it can for you too It seemed crazy at first but that’s what I needed all along Jesus can heal you He’s the way, the truth and the life Give him a try! The book “Overcoming Unwantes Intrusive Thoughts”, by Sally Winston helped me When we try to push the thoughts away and panic at the thoughts it makes the amygdala ( alarm ) part of the brain signal an alarm to try to keep us safe from a thought that isn’t dangerous Anyway, read the book Comment from : @RosyLife79 |
