I think silk pressing is perfect in moderation! Whenever I skip those silk press trims my hair definitely feels it!! I think its good to get your hair pressed at least every six weeks Protein is good for your hair but beware too much of it and it will snap!! Comment from : @SydneeLoveee |

I so agree with you about hair growth/length retention while silk pressing! I silk pressed (never permed) most of my life and my hair grew just fine (down my back actually) During lock down I decided to start wearing my hair in it’s naturally curly state and while it was really cute, I experienced sooo much breakage 😭 My hair is now the shortest it’s ever been and needless to say I’m back to silk pressing Comment from : @mekad7900 |
