Edcel Jann M Corre
Remember, Bruce is huge for a Great White but he's male The one is Jaws 2 is a female that's even bigger
Comment from : Edcel Jann M Corre

Paulo
This is just like the T-Rex scene in Jurassic Park
Comment from : Paulo

Jack Lambert
0:32 on of the greatest shots in the whole movie Shows you just how big the shark really is when you put it next to a human
Comment from : Jack Lambert

Hermit
He died in there in the book
Comment from : Hermit

Lefou De_jfd
Même si un grand blanc de 4/5 quand tu t’y attend pas sa surprend mais Bruce il a un air sans vie malin beaucoup plus intelligent que les autres vengeur
Comment from : Lefou De_jfd

Lefou De_jfd
Même si ce film est ancien il est oppressant
Comment from : Lefou De_jfd

Melissa King
The scene proves Quint's point about the absurdity of using the shark cage against the leviathan
Comment from : Melissa King

Meshon Green
Jaws is my favorite movie of all times, remembering how terrifying this scene was Hopper adjusting his goggles as Jaws comes into frame as you finally get a good look at how big he really is, just pure terror
Comment from : Meshon Green

SpoonFulForYou
The ONLY flaw I have with this film and the only part that dates this film is the live action shark footage It looks too realistic compared to the animatronic The whole film should have used an animatronic The real shark doesn’t even have the rope on it And every time you see the real shark footage it kind of takes me out of the movie
Comment from : SpoonFulForYou

Scott Pendleton
Still holds up today great movie

McTDaBest
Someone needs to zoom in on hoopers face at 2:05 and put dumb ways to die
Comment from : McTDaBest

Skullcrawler95
1:51 seeing how big his mouth is you could imagine what it was like when he killed his victims
Comment from : Skullcrawler95

Natalie Reynolds
This must be the extended version scared me so much Hooper is my fave
Comment from : Natalie Reynolds

D Pro
The perfect blend of practical effects and live action footage Those who criticize the shark for looking fake are just plain fools Like the 1933 classic King Kong, these animatronic models have a heft, a weight that CGI can’t achieve Plus the actors are actually in the same frame as the mechanical shark which makes a difference
Comment from : D Pro

Matt Turkington
This movie doesn’t scare me, because I watched behind the scenes and I forget how scary this is
Comment from : Matt Turkington

E R
This is so funny a mockery risk one’s life so that others can play in the water as if they are fish That somehow they will all die if they cannot enter the water I know it’s just a movie
Comment from : E R

Chicago PAB
When I saw this as a kid I was so scared every time I was on the toilet or in a swimming pool lol It must have been genuinely scary to act with Bruce in the water like that in a cage
Comment from : Chicago PAB

IDunno
I noticed that in various cuts there is a real shark
Comment from : IDunno

Jakobsson9
And yeah i think the game jaws unleashed is canon and that the shark thats named jaws from that game is the only shark that doesn’t die and like brucetta is 35 feet long and also jaws the shark is brucetta’s mate
Comment from : Jakobsson9

Jakobsson9
Even though it is not comfirmed in the book or film it is implied that the sharks are mutated white sharks or uncategorized of great white judging its big size and intelligence it is also assumed that they are megalodons
Comment from : Jakobsson9

Fay Cuypers
Im just 9 years old and I think like OMG WHAT 8S THIS
Comment from : Fay Cuypers

James Lisle
In the water no one can hear you scream!
Comment from : James Lisle

Anderson Mendes
Hooper leaning against the back of the cage when faced with an “25 footer/three ton” being hovering over him is the etymological definition of “what the hell am I doing here?”

I just read that Hooper was suppose to be killed off in the movie just like the book but they rewrote the script bc this shot of the shark damaging the cage was so good they decided kept it Showing Hooper swimming away when it was really the stunt double swimming for his life
