Would I need an in-line fuse with the power supply?

I would rather have the MFJ-4230MV with the analog needle meter and the better power screw jacks on the rear LCDs and backlights are more prone to failures over time Nice meter though The MFJ-4230MV supply has a voltage crowbar over 16V Not sure on this unit

The rigs we use are fed in the back, so it eludes me why ANY powersupply would have their terminals on the front panel

Ape, thanks for the video! I like having the power poles on the back but wouldn't it cool to have some on the front also and I like the Dual digital meter !

I own two of the MFJ-4230MVP which is the version with the analog meter (without the LCD) They are great little power supplies I like the physical size over some of the other brands A 2m/70cm mobile radio is just begging to sit right on top of this and together they make a nice neat package for your amateur radio station

I don't know about this one brother Seems like a decent unit until the grid goes down and in this day and age Who knows for sure I have been concentrating on 12 Volt Li-Ion battery powered solutions combined with inexpensive Drok step down adjustable power converters which come with a digital read out for volts and amps My current 12 Volt setup is silent and there is no AC generated audio noise Once again, the MFJ looks like a sturdy unit but I hope you are prepped with the alternative I have mentioned Take care
