After wearing my mask for more than 30 minutes, I start to feel very uncomfortable and can sense a wave of panic coming over me I do try to slow my breathing down, which helps a bit I will now add in the visualization element, some thing I know, just forgot to do in the moment Comment from : @tresseyadams |

1 Imagery/Visualizationbr2 Meaning/Purposebr3 Prayer/SpiritualitybrI recently figured out that I can believe in God/Higher Power even though I'm not Catholic anymore Religion is an organization that has structure to it Spirituality can be more individual with less structure/rules/dogma and probably less corruption since there is nothing between yourself and the higher power I would disagree that spirituality applies to everyone but I think that's off topic brbr4 RelaxationbrOur bodies tense up when we feel threatened/danger Can relax by using DPT crisis survival skills: youtube/SS7jT-3lam4brbr5 Focus on 1 thingbrCan use grounding skills (5 senses)brbr6 Vacation/Break - Physically leave situationbr7 Self encouragement brbrI never knew masks could give others anxiety but thinking about it, it does make sense For me masks have had the opposite effect I used to have a problem with attention even if I didn't show it outwardly It always felt like people were looking at me by just walking from place to place, entering a room or talking to someone The mask makes me feel like I'm wearing a disguise and I have superpowers The problem is before the pandemic I felt I was making so much progress opening up to others and making friends and being a more outgoing and happy person but now that everyone is social distancing I have to give second thought to even waving, talking to people or helping an old person pick something up I feel like I've lost a lot of the progress I've made but also know that I can make it back in the future so that's reassuring Comment from : @activelivingchallenger4298 |
