About the deodorant, you can easily make it yourself and reuse your old deodorant container It's basically coconut oil, baking soda There are a lot of receipes online For the receipes that use beeswax, you can switch that for candelilla wax, which will make it vegan (use about half the amout you would for beeswax) With essential oils you can choose your own sent, I'm using tea tree and rosemary

If you have sensitive skin and want a zero waste exfoliation alternative use a brush for dry brushing, there are extra soft versions, here in Germany they are called „Busenbürste“ I love mine very much And if you are like me and cannot shave properly with a savety razor try shugaring instead Can be diyed pretty easy :-)

When a soap becomes so thin I take a new soap and after wetting it I kind of stick the soap scrap underneath the new soap That way you can use every bit of that soap There's no need to put extra effort for melting down the scraps😊😊 I hope this helps You can just use coconut coir for scrubbing instead of a loofah

There is a layer of skin that surrounds the eyeball (the conjunctiva), so don't worry, it is impossible for things to get behind the eyeball (this also applies to contact lenses, they just actually get caught under the lids) Also your eye has a higher temperature so coconut oil will stay melted, will just make you a little blurry for a bit because it leaves a film (similar to when you can still feel oil on your skin) :) x

Loofahs PLEASE be carefull, when buying those Some natural loofahs are made from cut out live aquatic sponges Since they are already dying out by pollution, we dont need to contribute to it!! Gladly, most of them are now made from a Plant that when prepared correctly looks like a loofah (I think thats what she uses!)

Rose water (flower water) is not a cleanser!!! Olis (emolients) are not hair conditioners Vinegar should be mixed with water, and should not be use often Squeaky clean hair / face is bad thing!! I use jojoba or sweet almond oil for my face (and hair), never coconut oil because it's quite pore clogging, along with a warm washcloth to exfoliate The skin on your face is way more sensitive so you have to be careful Same with sugar scrubs, I only use them for my lips or body

Low waste - I use diluted castille soap to wash my face and hands It's in a foaming dispenser (yes plastic but I intend to use it until it breaks) My skin never feels dry or tight afterwards

My ear doctor told me to never put something like that in my ear Instead you can use hydrogen peroxide cut with purified water You just lay down and drip a couple drops in Your ear will warm up and bubble After a few minutes you turn your ear so it comes out with any gunk and you redo the process just with the purified water You shouldn’t do this all the time as it can dry out your ear, but if you feel like you are getting an ear infection or something this is a great way to clean out your ear that requires no tool and is safer Of course if there is any chance you have something seriously wrong you wouldn’t want to do this and naturally you should consult your doctor, but if you simply want to clean your ears after swimming or something to prevent swimmers ear this is a good solution :)
