Thank you for informative video - for me, all went well until the reinstallationwhen you place the cylinder back in, all well and good - but the grey back plastic bracket which is supposed to sit behind the cylinder to hold in place and pops onto small plastic peg - I just cant get it low enough to enable this to clip into place its a couple of mm to high and no matter how I try cant get it line up to clip into place Any suggestions? Please

The bit about flushing out the water, at around 1:40, is a bit unclear Clearly you have to do that to avoid a flood when you dismantle the parts later on! My guess is that having turned off the water you'd do it by pushing the left blue lever, which is what happens when you press the button to flush normally Is that what is meant by 'this is all going to be flushed out at this point'? Or does 'lifting the trigger mechanism' do it automatically?

My Geberit looked very different on the inside (perhaps an older model), so it took me 2 hours to get alle the parts out through that tiny wall hole Your video still gave me the courage to try Thanks for that Why do they have to make those wall holes so tiny you can barely get your hands in there and you definetely can't see what you are doing? That is a crime against humanity to make wall holes that small anyway thanks for the video

When I push the button on the plate, the tank empties like normal, and starts filling, but all the water instead of filling the tank it goes into the toilet bowl I suspect the little white rod 5:51 that connects the button on the flush plate to the mechanism remains stuck Why could this be? I like this model of toilet, butbr1 what if you have a blockage? How do you get access to the soil pipe to clear it?br2 When the cistern doesn't flush with a conventional toilet, you just lift the cover up and fill with water etc Here what do you do? brbrMaintenanfe and repair seems so complicated

Thanks ! Would not have been able to repair without this ! Our building had the water shut off and when the water came back on , the toilet wouldn’t stop running I took off panels, shut off water, cleaned all the pieces put back together and it worked! Great video!
