This worked perfectly! OMG I was about to buy a whole fill valve and that other part lmfao! This fixed my issue as well In my toilet the black float cup was set just a smidgen too high so that when it stopped, the water level was just ibarely/i leaking into the top of that white overflow tube, trickling into it until the reservoir level got too low for the black float cup triggering filling process all over again I'm looking forward to a slightly lower water bill next month!
