I think it really depends on the graphics of the particular game I've seen several comparison YouTube videos comparing the two with other games and some the ps4 looks slightly better, other the xb1 looks slightly better It's really just personal preference I personally like the xb1 only because when upgraded models are available they're backward-compatible meaning you're older model games are also playable on the newest model Versus ps4 games aren't compatible to the newest models, therefore you have to purchase new games Making xb1 more cost effective in the end

Played this on my mates Xbox One yesterday while they ranted and raved about how great it is, and had to bite my tongue the whole time The only reason I am here today is to confirm what I thought I was seeing yesterday, holy shit these graphics are utterly bullcrap 'Next gen' not even running at 1080p, no anti-aliasing, and textures from the early 2000's How did they manage to make it look so fucking bad?

Textures look the same in almost all cases Some segments show slightly lower texture resolution on Xbox One A couple of cases that come to mind are the doilies you find on tables, or the tin foil behind the sink in the kitchen, both of these textures look better on PS4, I'm sure there are others but the difference is so subtle I didn't notice Lighting is clearly higher resolution on PS4, with noticeable odd artifacts in the shadows in certain cases on Xbox One (not sure what the term is for this) Also, hair is rendered more realistically and with more detail on PS4 I have both consoles and own this game for both so I can provide a more hands on comparison than the average single console owner Also, I personally have noticed that the frame rate stutters on my Xbox One on occasion, while the PS4 retains its silky smooth frame rate throughout almost the whole game I do prefer the Xbox One controller over the PS4 controller The Xbox One controller feels more natural and I don't have to worry about it dying on me as often Overall I prefer to play the game on PS4, it offers a smoother and more visually impressive experience, if only slightly The PC version isn't even worth discussion as it will be the clear winner if you have a high-end rig Not even worth mentioning in a comparison in my opinion
