just to clarify lead time is not when you start working on a card to done It is when the ticket arrives in your backlog to done in Jira its the control chart and by choosing the right states you can either get lead time or cycle time

With Jira there is a WIP limit per column, other than aligning column WIP limit to the number of people on your team is there a way to apply a WIP limit based on a users in a Role like say Developer?
