Just wondering, can I just press the power button on it and keep it running constantly or do I have to set a timer

I can grow corn with my light and it uses the same amount of power as the lamp in my living room LEDs are the way to go

Well the amount of electricity it uses depends on the the size of the lights you have i have leds that use more electricity than than my 600w hps that being said im not growning the same plants as you

I see many of these, same model but with purple rays Will it matters? Although my eyes prefer the white colors, in my country, the price of white LED grow light is 5x more expensive than the purple one

I just bought a similar one from eBay and was trying to set the timer with one of those timer plugs but i realised that the moment power is cut to it, the device resets and the light will not turn on again when the timer plug turns back on

Have used this lighting to start seedlings for my Garden Tower with great success Be aware that if you have a power outage only lasting seconds, the light will go out totally and needs to be “rebooted” If you leave your home for several days/weeks, it might be worth adding an inexpensive UPS (universal power source) to your system to prevent a light system failure Keep making these great videos!

The USB is good for USB power strips More efficient in power and space than AC Power strip

Nice review :) Is it still possible to use an external timer? I wanna have light in 18 hours and planned to use this with an external timer But does it turn on when the external timer starts the power?

Wow Thanks so much for your review We live and travel around in our RV and grow a bunch of herbs and salad blends and have been looking for a good simple grow-light that doesn't need to be plugged into a household electrical outlet and could be run off a 12-volt USB strip or outlet this is wonderful and Thanks so much again
