The valedictorian of my high school class was m*rdered by a person claiming to be in need of a nanny He was actually just a teen guy wanting to k*ll someone He shot her in the back as she ran away He planned the entire thing knowing what he was going to do This was like in 2007ish- never went on craiglist again after that

I always meet the person in public, usually near a police station And if you mention that casually like: "You know, the coffee shop across from the police station?" it rapidly eliminates potential crooks And if you bmust/b go to their house, go during the day time and with several friends Not just one or two The more people to read the situation and listen to their intuition the better Stay safe out there people! It's a crazy crazy world we are living in

A sad fact of life is that people are sick And on instances of the least story, they may have been setting him up so they could jump him just for kicks Some people think it's fun to beat someone within an inch of their lives Some stranger, who couldn't identify them That would be a setup that could end worse than just a beating and they would be likely to get away with it too

People should always be cautious I’m not anti Craigslist but I do realize with everything in life it can be dangerous You should always make sure you’re selling to people who vibe well or just want to sell you an item if they seem off just don’t go with the deal

Craigslist always skeeved me out for this exact reason You just never know who you're dealing with or walking into The workout bench and rental house stories were so creepy and unsettling Glad those people got away safely! Makes you really cautious about using sites like Craigslist
