even though it’s a very basic “revenge plot” what made Menendez so memorable to me was the sheer absolute lengths he was willing to go to to destroy everyone who ever wronged him in the game and how he can succeedbrbrrealistically when you have the sniper Woods would have thought he was executing Raul he would have shot him straight in the face he resented him as he should have and i imagine many players did on their first play through brbrand as demonstrated above he wasnt only very very clever but a genuine unstoppable force of nature in combat a close grenade explosion and a bullet to the eye wasn’t even enough to stop him And his will to die to be with his sister he knew one way or another he was gunna die eventually whether by his own doing or through Mason or Woods He knew that his death would only make Cordis Die stronger he is almost unbeatable even in death

This mission is why I believe Menendez is the best villain in the COD series Even though he's a bad guy, this mission (and the interrogation) shows the struggles he went through all his life and how rough of a life his people had Witnessing his people being murdered and raped by American soldiers and possibly being abused by his father and his sister being crippled by a fire This upbringing is a strong result of hatred of Americans and has a rightful reason for hating Americans This game lets you see how they view American soldiers as vicious animals by their point of view So fantastic
