Astute observation on 24 HR volume I noticed this discrepancy today as well This seems to highlight the discrepancy between Reported and Actual Volume on Exchange Aggregator sites like Coin Market Cap Coin Gecko seems to do a better job of discerning these LINK/USD today around 12:30 AM EST had a Price Chart 24 HR Volume of 194,949 LINK but up top displayed 1,329,239 LINK
Interestingly, the 6 HR price chart also displayed 194,949 LINK Now , it is Saturday and historically a lower volume day, but, I seriously doubt that all the April 4th day's volume occurred in the last 6 hours of the day, although it is possible Also, 4x the 6HR volume for a full 24 HR is 779,796 LINK, which is still less than the 1,329,239 amount at the top brbrNow, I did not manually add up the Trade History Data, but I did just Check both Coin Gecko and Coin Market Cap Both show around $3,060,052 which roughly equates to 13 million LINK on CB Pro since LINK price was $225-230 the whole day They are definitely reporting the higher volume Coin Gecko has displayed CB Pro as over-reporting their volume in the past but it does not show that they did today Regardless, knowing how commonly exchanges over inflate their volume data, I now more strongly suspect that CB Pro is over-reporting theirs as well There is increasingly steep exchange competition - and there seems to be a widespread race to the bottom effect since many larger exchanges also do this brbrHave you discovered anything more about this volume discrepancy?
