You know, I also think there's no command and control Yeah yeah, comic book movie etc But there's thousands of individuals here And no central command I feel as if some form of battlefield control center (maybe even both sides?)mcguffin would also give a good device for: showing the overview of what's going on; giving the idea that there's some sort of 'plan'

I think the biggest issue with the movie is Tony's death Yes, it was dramatic, sad and stuff but, the good guys have the infinity stones If hulk only suffers a broken arm than They could easily bring him back after it's healed They gave no limit to what they could do so whoever has them is basically a living god

Comparing the battle of Helm's Deep and the battle at the end of the MCU is incongruous The battle at Helm's Deep was not the final battle of it's story The battle at Minas Tirith was the ending fight for LOTR and was, arguably, just as disappointing because of the armies of the dead

Wow, what you're saying here really reminds me of Onigashima It was a battle in One Piece that seemed to suffer many of the problems listed here, particularly the infrequency of truely tense pendulum swings towards the enemy’s favor Objectives would be decided, but our characters would just steamroll through most problems More time would be spent with the characters in transit, expositing to the audience, than actually engaging with the threats It was incredibly dissapointing and exhausting I feel crazy when fans still gush over it

Yeah, don't compare Tolkien's/Jackson's masterpiece to this Marvel dogshit They can't even do CGI right with thier enormous budget and what not brbrThe story to Injustice games is the only comic book plotline that I genuinely enjoyed Marvel is suitable for 12 year olds No character progression, no sense of something being at stake or any main superhero ever being in real danger Even if they die, they will be ressurected All around abysmal produciton that somehow became the most massive franchise brbrAnd shoutout to all mouthbreathers that raved about this dogshit, Disney is trying even less now and we have inpeccable gems like Ahsoka, Rise of Skywalker thanks to you Once again, refer to Injustice to see how a compelling superhero story can be crafted that will genuinely keep you glued to the edge of your seat

Unfortunately I hold the opinion that this was when marvel became dogshit This ending to the hyped up narrative was trashed during the whole movie was in my opinion Stakes were never high this movie when we were being promoted a threat that would massacre our heroes who unfortunately couldn’t mass up to his armies strength anytime soon Ended just being a average marvel film It wasn’t the Disney shows that came after it, it was this film in my opinion Even the main plot of time travel was there for just nastalgia, it should have been shorter, kept thanos with the same depth he had and had the stakes way higher than endgame CONSIDERING half the hero roster was gone and even when they got snapped back, still should have been a high stake ending We should have seen heroes struggling like in Infiniti war Captain marvel was such plot armor too Really the biggest dissapointment in every other media I’ve been invested into

You are misreading the battle The portals isn’t the start of the battle It’s Gandalf arriving The big 3 vs Thanos is everything before that brbrExcept this final part isn’t an immediate route of the enemy There’s more complexity here So… you’re wrong because you’re splitting one battle into 2, despite it being one clear battle from start to finish

If you show Thanos teleporting Captain Marvel to the other side of the galaxy, you introduce a narrative inconcistency in that there's no reason he wouldn't do that for every avenger This would break the entire relevancy of this battle

27:13 The thought of "Why was Wanda there" is the exact issue people have with the all women together fighting moment There isn't any reason from a storytelling perspective that they're all suddenly together without the men You're taken completely out of the film as the moment is so obviously fan service, rather than any clever writing They didn't even need this moment, almost half the avengers at this point are women, you don't need to show them doing an all women scene, it trivialises their individual contribution, and make them this collective mass who's only important because of their gender to balance out the men, it's not like a girls going to watch and go "Omg, I didn't notice there were female superheros!!"
