Guth declared: It's hard to build models of inflation that don't lead to a multiverse It's not impossible, so I think there's still certainly research that needs to be done
Comment from : Max Irwin

Elif Ece
dear Alex,brBrian may be trying to tell you the number of times that something occurs may be because you are predicting it and you are thinking about it or some thing that is relevant to the question for your own mind That also makes sense if let’s say an inquiry comes back to you, with more in your own words open end it or discoverable it actually makes it so Plus it’s not a magic It’s basically yeah a science

Runn
When you got to the Joe Rogan part and started talking about this toxic competition in academic science, it really made me think of my journey in grad school Everyone was very quick to tear down others achievements or diminish others Like, I love competition but for whatever reason the environment felt like it lost the excitement for actual science, and was instead just about frustration, anger, and jealousy towards others all the time and it didnt really help my already horrible mental health
Comment from : Runn

Steve Agnew
Goodness, Lex, 4 effing hours Took me four days to listen and I learned a great deal about Keating and a person and Keating as a Scientist and Keating's secular Religion of a believing nonbeliever Keating is in a much greater company of Scientists who all lost Nobel prizes and that includes me and my career as a Scientist in chemical physics, spectroscopy, plasma, and nuclearbrbrKeating's secular Religion showed him how to live a good and moral life just like any trad Religion does as well Keating deals well with the nihilism of Science, but never really mentioned the dangers of that nihilism He did remark several times about the related dangers of Scientism, the false belief that some people have that Science can tell us how to live a good and moral lifebrbrHe talked about the roles of transcendental beauty and truth in his life, but never really about the roles of the other transcendentals of feeling, identity, and consciousness The transcendental feeling includes not only good feelings, but also bad feelings like suffering, anger, envy, and pride His elaboration of the CMB polarization measurement left out the fact that there was plenty of evidence about the dominance of dust polarization before the experiment was even conceived They just chose to ignore the fact that the experiment was a waste of time, but still plenty of fun
Comment from : Steve Agnew

Jennifer Alexander
I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation wwwyoutubecom/post/Ugkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!
