Nice video I find the amd stock coolers are decent coolers The trick is not the cooler, but the thermal paste I fix computers in my city and only use the artic silver 5 thermal paste Example: i had a skytech archangel gaming rigg with the amd stock cooler and an amd ryzen 3 cpu Temps were 59 Celsius at idle I repasted the cooler with a pea drop of artic silver 5 paste and the temps dropped to 29 Celsius at idle and web surfing and 49 at heavy gaming

Being stubbornly using the stock wraith cooler for half a year, it simply cannot keep up with the temps when loading high intensive games or apps, sure it works most of the time but it causes several crashes and errors It's only useful for minimal nominal work and barebones "the system runs" kinda performancebrThe stock cooler sucks, who would've thunk it

you just made me relize my ryzen 5 5600x is running on undervolt and have 82c on a non stock cooler(noua akari pro)! i tought it was normal having 82c degrees on a ryzen 5 5600x undervolted at 41 ghz running on the lowest voltage i could use This is a prebuilt pc do you think they forgot to remove the cooler sticker or maybe added less thermal paste than it should?

Stock cooler is horrible I have a 5600x with the stock cooler and a RTX 2060, when I try to play Valorant or any game it jumps to 100 degrees Celsius Definitely need liquid cooling with my rig

looked this up before i opened mine back up to check the thermal paste i did, its running as expected, mine doesnt exceed 83 degrees , i was at 86 degrees but that was before i put 2 120 mm fans in the top to suck out warm air

80c while gaming and rendering is NORMAL It's designed to boost until it reaches those temps Rocking it with an RTX 3060 Ti in a Dr Zaber Sentry case My cooler is a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4

Believe it or not, apparently these coolers have gotten even worse now, in some cases running over 65 at idle, and not even being able to keep the temps below thermal protection at a full load

I recently upgraded my Ryzen 7 1700 to the 5600X It was a phenomenal overall upgrade, but I noticed the fan was louder than my old Ryzen was I measured my CPU heat when playing Elden Ring and it hit 80 degrees Celsius after about 15 minutes of play brbrI switched back to the old cooler that came with the 1700 and both much quieter and cooler - still playing Elden Ring at the same settings, it always hovers around 75 degrees brbrI’m a big fan of the 5600X, but I’ll reiterate that I recommend everyone to switch out its cooler!

I just bought a ryzen 5 5600 ran Cinebench r23 and it crashed put my fan curve to 100 percent and it still crashed Cpu temps jumps to 100celcius plus :) New Computer x570 motherboard and a few fans in thr case

Great video and to the point! I run the stock cooler for now with a Pro 4750G, and a 1060 under cinebench load it hits 80-85º but doesn't down clock not sure the max temp before this happens The one thing I don't like is the low tone this cooler makes in the case at idle, that is annoying as hell in a quiet room like mine, I plan on water cooling it later

Due to the absence of information regarding real world use of this cpu, I will leave this here Yes the cpu runs hot With the stock cooler you will run about 65c idle, 91-95 under load You need a better cooler for this cpu I have a high airflow setup and the stock cooler, just ordered a DeepCool cooler because the stock one isn’t good enough Not a surprise there given the stock cooler has aluminum contact points

Hey dude Sorry for the late message I have just put in at 5600x and my idle temps are at around 65C and 95C under load I applied thermal paste before putting the cooler on, so I'm thinking that maybe I have added too much since the cooler comes with it pre-applied Does this sound correct to you? The stock fan on it would reach near 90°C on heavy games like Control and Red Dead 2, plus the RTX 3070 was partially responsible for such high temps It was necessary for me to upgrade it with a Noctua fan and now it never goes above 65°C

hi, i just installed the same cpu on the same motherboard! my bios is f13 and all drivers are up to date! but my system restarts every once a while it says kernel power 41 is the reason (using also corsair rm850x) i have also reinstalled windows 10 several times and tested ram and hard disk also did sfc /scannow any idea whats the problem? thanks in advance
