Very good and straight forward video that removes and doubt of "magic" fps via nVidia control panel settings If I am allowed to make a suggestion, I would point to another very good video you can search for "shogoz" video on YT, it goes through each setting in nVidia control panel explaining what each one does and what are the effects Comment from : undefined |
I have been following closely, and I enjoy your content but please I don't have a means of acquiring a laptop, please can someone assist me? Comment from : N Concept World |

Nvidia Control Panel basically gives you slightly more FPS by quietly dumbing down your graphics details The only real way you can get FPS is with GPU overclocking software, like MSI AfterburnerbrbrI have my CPU, memory, and GPU overclocked, fine tuned, and undervolted to get the best possible performance at the lowest possible temps, and this helps add to gaming performance more than Nvidia Control Panel does Comment from : Nathan Purvis |
The last time I went into the Nvidia Control panel was to cap the framerate to 80FPS when playing New World with a RTX 3080 (just incase) Comment from : Sol 3 UK |

Agreed for most of it but let me ask you a question, why would Nvidia put these settings in there anyway? I suppose they are not there to just play with it or make samo placebo effect?! Comment from : Emir Cesan |
They make videos with those phony statements because 1) They know it's click bait 2) Misinformation 3) increase CPM per 1000 views 4) increase in in ad revenue 5) Attention getting behavior 6) narcissism 7) ego manics 8) false bragging rights 8) immaturity 9 ) low self esteem 10) Being obnoxious 10) lack of solid education in computers/electronics Comment from : John Senchak |
lol, your monitor is only capable of 144 hrtz which will be average of 144 fps, :) get a monitor to run 200 hrtz and get 200 fps they go hand in hand, :) Comment from : IDFTSMAN |

It should also be noted that putting the GPU on prefer maximum performance will prevent it from idling, even when you're just on the desktop, so it's an extra bad idea to change that, especially since it doesn't really affect performance that much if at all Comment from : beewyka819 |
