you cant break windows by altering settings in nvidia control panel, I don't think you know what your talking about to be honest

There are a few settings you did not adjust like OpenGL and PhysX Always set them to the video card if you are using Nvidia But not all the same tweaks work the same on every pc There are a lot of factors to take into consideration like mem size and speed, storage size and speed, monitor refresh rate, MB settings and the list goes on So there really is no one size fits all when it comes down to boosting a pc, there is a lot of trial and error And it also has a lot to do with the silicon lottery

Who told you power management mode prefer maximum performance that person never did research brWhat it dose is just runs the car at max throttle all the time wasting power and prob capping the performance to low cause overheat brOptimal gives already max performance if there is a demand brThe max performance is just a gimmick and a huge disinformation As 999999 of all people never even asked Nvidia support personally on what that thing dose -_-

It was giving a boost with older cards maybe but it makes a difference in smoothness/feel and visuals a bit

I dont play games,but i do content creation and ive tried some of these so-called tweaks and they did more bad than goodOnly improvment i got was switching from a 3070ti to a 3080Control panel is all defaults

Another reason to stay on Optimal power is Prefer Maximum Performance keeps the GPU clock boosted constantly, even if your current workload isn't really using much of the GPU Considering this doesn't really help performance all that much, you should probably keep it on Optimal Power so your GPU clock stops sucking all the power out of the wall only to end up idling for most of those extra clock cycles It will boost when neededbrbrSo now instead of getting someone complaining that you didn't put it on performance, you're getting someone complaining that you did You cannot win :)

The only time I had to do that to gain performance was with the Cemu emulator Basically it works twice as good with a preset setting that enables it to do certain things
