I just purchased a young Rambutan tree, and planted it on my landthe leaves are all turning brown and crispy?? It maybe from too much sun? Should I cut off all the leaves, and transplant it back to a pot and put under partial shade to revive this tree? Thank you

idk it got a sweet grape, lychee, got a texture like grape calamari, dont like how the skin of the seed peels with the fruit

I started my seeds in 100 worm castings I always save my worm dirt as I call it Once I'm done fishing with my worms I use the worm dirt for my plants and also to start all my seeds I just transplanted both my rambutan seeds in its own pots Just remember keep your worm dirt from your fishing Good fertilizer

I'm sorry to say but most rambutan that you buy will not sprout true Most rambutan fruit that is bought, comes from trees that are cuttings that has been grafted on a root stock Most likely the fruit from those seeds will be green with red hairs and taste not so sweet and more sour with a bit of vegetable taste It may work out for you and I wish you good luck It will take you 3-5 years to see the first fruits and another 3-5 years to be fully productivebrbrMy paternal grandfather(lives at grassy marshland) has a rambutan tree that is quite young(most likely grown from seeds) The fruits never ripen to a deep red, just green and red splotches with red hairsbrMy maternal grandfather(lives in mountainous deep rainforest) has wild rambutan that fruits reds and yellows but the seeds from these trees aren't viable
