I've been looking for a program or tutorial for "scraping" data (not backup files or programs) off an accumulation of disk drives (both HD, SSD and flash drives) to "bulk" deposit (whether moving or copying) to one large hard drive to run a de-duplication program and sort old from new, and organize old data photo, xls, pdf, photos, document & video etc data Any hints, tips mor suggestions?

Hi Andy thanks for the video One thing though is, I am dealing with a drive locked by bitlocker Can you do a video on recovering files on a bitlocker-locked/encrypted drive? I was able to create byte-to-byte backup ( in ISO file) onto another external hdd, but it seems its still locked and difficult to access files You might help Thanks in advance

So that I understand, after Disk Drill recovers the files, we can't use the external drive? I wanted to put everything back onto the external drive after it is recovered This is not possible? Also, will we still be able to use the external drive to save future files on?

EEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY My 36tb external's case suddenly went kaboom just kidding the solder between power inlet and the motherboard was lost and my external drive kind of like messed up so, i baught a new adapter and voila the external suddenly became basic mbr with unallocated partition i managed to convert it to gpt like before and created a partition but i did not format the partition i still don't see my old files can you explain what happened on my drive for your next video?

So i just stupidly formatted my 500GB external hard drive, i did the Fast Format I've done the scan with Disk Drill that tuck 4 hours, it only found 2 GB of files and these "files, videos, pictures" didn't even work or play I had Music, video, files, pictures and data of around 400GB Is there a reason why im having this issue ? do i need to pay for the full version ? i don't want to pay for a software that will not work thank you
