I'll second what the guy said about running I was around 210 pounds and managed to run a 17:30 3 mile I was a decent runner, but my time hung between 19-19:30 It wasn't until my buddy started doing interval training with me on the weekends that I broke 18 minutes for the first time

Might be good to slow down rep cadence on pull-ups so you can increase the time under tension during training I’d wait until the a few workouts before the PFT to quicken your pull-up cadence
