i always love hearing people tell me to run slower to run faster i naturally am competitive and hyperactive and tend to go all out most of my runs i’m trying to run a sub 5 minute mile my current record is 5:41 i know i need to run more 10 minute mile paced runs for 10-15k a couple times a week and i appreciate you saying this Comment from : Michael Ihde |

Hi Sage thank you for your videos I have a question I ran a 5:20 mile recently and according to all websites my easy pace should be like 7:30 per mile but I find that pace impossible to keep my heartrate from shooting up and feeling like it's a tempo run Any ideas? what if i just run a 2:15 half mile and try to hold on for the last half? like just destroy the pace in the beginning and hang on? i do that during cross country, and the faster my first mile was, the better my overall time would be Comment from : James Henry |
