i forgot to mention something in the video that i just remembered right now haha Another huge plus for me is that because pumice is a single ingredient, i don’t have to worry about purchasing a bunch of different soil mix ingredients, like soil, perlite, and orchid bark It’s always a pain when I run out of one ingredient of my soil mix and I have to go out purchase a orchid bark or something lol brbrlately i’ve really been trying to simplify and deciliter my plant care so pumice has been a great step in that direction! I would to experiment and convert into leca, just bc i’ve heard that plants grow faster, but I feel kind of lazy with some videos that I have seen I have to ph down and count the total of ppmbrDo you think is really necessary to count the ppm? I might just try to ph down the water for now And I am gonna get that bootle of nutrients you use I am gonna start with pumice too first, since is more affordable than leca Thanks for this video! can you grow all tropical plants in pumice? I've put a Calathea Medaillon from soil Into pumice and at first it did great: between 10 and 15 new shoots coming out of the pumice, but before each leaf unfolds it already starts getting brown edges, which usually means: too much or too less water It's a mistery to me Comment from : hugo huysmans |

This was so helpful- not a popular method so I was struggling to find info I am curious about 2 things: I have several aquariums- can you use this water in the perlite to fertilize? I use it in my soil plants obviously Also curious about the drainage… I like to use glass vases- can you just give a good rinse every so often to flush out? brPs I subbed - love the subtle jazz and your calming voice!! brThank you for not screaming!!!
