Video very well put together, but initial applications of general operation are not proper for how lift is generated! I hope too god noone takes most of this video too heart, yes a great presentation, but no!

Flaps do not add lift Unless they add wing area They Change the cord line of the wing Which affects how much lift the wing makes! Not how much lift the flaps make!

Wait a minute I thought extra lift with a flap generates extra lift behind a CG and that causes pitching down moment I am an inactive full scale pilot and I believe I had to trim up as flaps go down whether it was a low wing Piper or high wing Cessna Quickly tried MSFS C172 definitely gives huge pitch up Mooney showed minimal change, and Learjet gives huge pitch down I always use flaps as it costs nothing extra, and 3D planes pitch up because those big control surfaces adds extra lift in front of CG is how I've been understanding it

The theory is wrong, because one of the underlying assumptions is wrong, there is no rule that says the air molecules that are seperated at the leading edge have to meet up again at the trailing edge

3:24 This is just plain wrong ! Equal transit time has been disproven several times, you can even see it on youtube videos of wind tunnel testing, the particles don't reach the back of the wing at the same time at all! The air atop moves much faster than the equal transit time theory predicts

The principle of equal transit time over and under the wing is not correct! The two airflows are completely independent of each other In fact, the air molucules travelling above the wing will reach the trailing edge before the air molecules travelling below the wing
